Contactless payment at La Trappe market
During the first La Trappe Trappist market in the Netherlands, organized at the abbey gardens of Bierbrouwerij de Koningshoeven, Tactile provided the cashless payment system in cooperation with Pay. Visitors could easily pay by debit or credit card for Trappist beer and artisanal products such as soap and cheese.


A special element was that each Trappist had its own SoftPOS device and thus its own ATM, which nicely reflected the combination of centuries-old traditions and modern technology. Although the trappists are used to age-old customs, they effortlessly embraced this innovation, which provided a nice contrast between craftsmanship and modern convenience.
