Partner case Prestop

Written by PAY. | Feb 19, 2026 9:18:43 AM

Every month we highlight a Pay. partner as "partner of the month" in this spot. This time it is Prestop, market leader in the field of interactive columns.

Domino's pizza, Schiphol Airport and Van Haren shoes; these are just a few examples of the many companies that use Prestop's interactive columns. At one location they are used to better guide visitors, while at another location a company immediately makes a nice profit on sales thanks to the use of a Prestop column.

The largest manufacturer within the Benelux.

Prestop has been around since 1993. Once started as a supplier of LCD projectors, but now more than 25 years in the market of interactive order and information kiosks. This makes Prestop the most experienced party in the market and it is also the largest supplier in the Benelux.

Guests order themselves on the touch screen.

Alexander Aelberts is the founder and CEO of Prestop. Aelberts: "We offer the right kiosk at the right location to the right target group." That can be indoors, for example in an exhibition building, or outdoors.

"We also supply columns on wheels. For example, for an ice cream parlor. Customers are then served outside when the sun shines, but when it rains the column is just inside. We always look at the best solution together with the customer. We do not push boxes, but offer real customization. In addition, we unburden the customer as much as possible," says Aelberts. "We deliver the column 'ready to plug in' in the design and configuration a customer wants. This is also why we are so happy with the cooperation with Pay. Our experience is that Pay. really unburdens the customer. The communication is clear and there are never any issues. What is special about this is that we see that Pay. makes no distinction in this between large and small customers."

Pay. is the payment solution for order kiosks.

The technical possibilities offered by Pay. are also a real added value, says Aelberts: "The features in the link with Pay. really make it an ideal payment solution for order kiosks. I'm not going to say exactly what those features are so as not to make our competition any wiser, but I can assure you that we are very happy with it. "

Less staff needed.

Many more kiosks will be added in the coming years, Aelberts expects: "The staff shortage makes kiosks necessary in some cases to keep a store open. In addition, more and more companies are seeing the added value, for example because additional sales are increasing or that other displays such as digital menus, are no longer needed."

"We also see that our solutions for columns outside are becoming increasingly popular. Think of a restaurant in an amusement park where you can already order and checkout outside and then still enjoy the amusement park while waiting for your food. "
